An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

quick question, what about 1031…why didn’t you post about 1031? because you should TOTALLY fucking post 1031.

what people dont understand is that this is NOT going to pass. i would really like to see the ACTUAL wording.

what people don’t understand is that there are already 2 prisons in this country that the PoB created without notifying the public for approval, which is not legal, called CMUs, one in Terre Haute and the other in Marion. Prisoners are transferred there, often without notification or explanation, where their communication with the outside world is heavily controlled and essentially prohibited. They are essentially open secrets in this country, and often referred to as Guantanamo North. And despite the fact that this country does not recognize citizens as political prisoners, a number of them were convicted of charges and then transferred based on political ties.
This is how the government works. They use the courts and Congress to legitimize things, often after the fact. Does anyone actually think that the executive branch will just not do something because it’s not passed legally? Like, fuck, guys, we’ve been in CONFLICT overseas for practically a fucking decade. Does no one remember all the bullshit about Congress not declaring war? And yet, look where we are.
Christ, stop having faith in the fucking democratic process. It’s a charade.
Instead, look into the CMUs. Be aware of what people are subjected to in this country.
